Hey Guys~
I need some help... I tried burning the X.1 upgrade cd for myself (it's a friends cd), but toast 4.1 can't make the cd bootable, because the upgrade cd doesn't have the folders "System Folder" and the application "Finder", which makes perfect sense, knowing that it is X. However, in order for my attempts to be successful, I need the cd to be bootable. Thanks a million guys and gals.

I've tried the same thing as you, but I'm pretty sure Apple made their OS X CD so people could not copy it. Just take the disc you have and install it before giving it back to your friend.

if you have toast deluxe, you can use the Disc Copy function to make a byte for byte copy of the upgrad disk. Otherwise, you can install X.1 from the disc, then use Disk Copy in OS X to copy the upgrade disc
