question about up-to-date for os9

I just got a new iMac and it had 8.6. If I order os 9 for $20 through Apple's up-to-date program, will I get an os9 _install/update_ cd or just an os9 _update_ cd? The difference, of course, is that with the former I can install os9 in one step, while the latter requires the installation of a prior OS level, THEN an update to os9. I'd much prefer the former.

Anyone know?

you will get a gosh oh golly full GM CD that you can cherish for generations to come.

a real full MacOS 9 GM, final release.
