UDF format CD's and DVD playing.

Got an iMac DV, it was playing DVD's fine. Put Adaptec's UDF driver on so that I could read some CD-R's. It stopped playing DVD's until I removed the UDF driver.

Bunch of arse.

what r this UDF driver ? is it only in MAc OS9 ? does it play all movies including the matrix ?

UDF drivers allow a CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive to read CD-RW created with Adaptec's DirectCD software. Make sure the drive in the iMac DV is on the compatability list or you won't get any help from Adaptec. You DO NOT need the UDF driver to play normal CD-R and CD-ROMS.
