Does anyone know if I can stick the ATAPI CD-ROM drive from a Blue and White G3 will work in my PowerMac 4400?
Thanks in advance for your input!

I believe the 4400 has an ATA CD-ROM drive interface, so it should work. Take your 4400 apart and find out... it's fun!

In case you have not tried it yet, be careful, the CD-ROM drive for the 4400 may be SCSI. I know that similar Power Mac models have SCSI CD-ROM drives, not sure about the 4400.

ATAPI drives will work in 4400, but the size may be off a bit, the 4400 drive is a bit deeper
