Could anyone give me some advice on choosing a router for my new cable modem that will allow both my powermac 6500 and my new compaq laptop to work on the network. Thanks for the help... I have heard good things about linksys but dont know if they will only work with a pc. Thanks geoff
Once setup, cable/dsl routers are fairly OS agnostic. Since you have both a PC and a Mac, getting it setup is no problem. You might have to read between the lines to get the Mac setup, but TCP/IP settings should be fairly easy to figure out.
