What are all the possible ways to speed up my 5200 without getting a different motherboard. I have 48MB RAM and the original 800MB HD. I am planning on downgrading to OS 8.1 and buying a new hard drive. Any other suggestions? Is more RAM worth it? I've heard the motherboard is really crappy in these things...

Also, can a 5200 run a web server decently? If so, with what software?

Thanks for all the help

There is a really good way to speed it up, throw it off a 15 story building .
I owned the 5200, and its S-L-O-W, very slow.......slow

I suggest getting a cheap PCI powermac (7300-9600, 6400/6500) and geting a g3 upgrade card.
