Trying to avoid desktop clutter... Or, does it have to go to the CPU?

Mine's plugged into my display. If there are USB ports there, it will work.

Cool. Thanks Bruno. With no iMac update announcements I may actually consider the PM route instead! I can easily hide the CPU, but I'm still concerned about two things:
1) Fan Noise
2) Side Storage and the effect on the drives
Any thoughts would be appreciated...

keyboard's black... in my opinion looks better.
One thing to think about is if you're gona be hiding the tower... if you have an iPod or other firewire devices I'd suggest either leaving a cable plugged in and within reach easily, or buying a hub.
And for CDs too think about how often you'll need to pop one in when you hide it away
