hmm.. I was really hoping for some more choice.. I don't need/don't want to pay for a superdrive but I need/want a 17" display! I was wishing for a combo drive 17" for under $1500.

With the price slashes the lcd's have seen I was sort of hoping there would be a greater price cut with the imac.. it's nice they FINALLY upgraded them but.. well.. I wasen't getting my hopes up but I'm still not that impressed...

I was really looking at replacing my tower with one of the new imacs.. but at the price points they're at.. I think I'll be looking at a new tower.
