I just got a brochure for a class called Troubleshooting and Maintaining the Macintosh done by a company called CompuMaster. It's supposed to be an in-depth 2-day workshop, with an option to take a 1 day advance course about taking care of Mac hardware and software. The 2-day course counts for 12 hours of continuing education. The latest courses will take place in southern California in April.

I very much want to take a class like this, but it's pretty expensive. $399 for the 2-day course alone and then $199 for the advanced course. I was wondering if anyone here had heard about it or had taken it. And if it's not worth it, someone could suggest a cheaper alternative?

Thanks,
Emile
