is it possible, or even reasonable, to add an airport card to a new 1ghz imac if it was not built wiht one? i know that apple closes the system architecture as much as possible, and even says that adding bluetooth after the fact would be problematic at best... how hard, if possible, is it to add an airport card to on at a later time?

thanks.

It takes about 3 minutes and is Rookie level easy. Disconnect all wires and put the iMac screen down in your lap. What I mean by that is for the screen to be dangling between and under your legs. Loosen the four screws (they don't actually come out of the bottom plate) and remove the bottom plate. Insert the card sticker up and reassemble. Easy Easy Easy.

I'll also add that I did this just 5 days ago
