OK, so Apple says 5-7 till it ships a PowerMac on order. But the 20'' LCD says 1-3 and mine shipped the same day it was ordered.
So...my question is to all of you who ordered a PowerMac in the last week or two, how long did it really take before it shipped?

I ordered my 1.25Ghz DDR model (stock) yesterday and it shipped last night, about a six hour turn around. Not bad if ya ask me....
PS- in case you didn't know, never, never order RAM from apple, not only will it delay shipment, the price is twice as high.

Dual 1.25 with bluetooth module. Everything else standard.
Oh, I'm a UK customer so that might make a difference.
Well, I WILL be a customer if I ever receive the machine! Just switching from PC + Linux + RISC OS. Three computers down to one

make sure you buy yourself a 2 button mouse. I don't know why apple hasn't adopted the 2 button mouse yet.. or more buttons.. (Hell mine has 5) but when i went from PC to Apple i HATED the apple mouse, i wasn't about to option click something when i could simply right click it before.

When you take delivery of your new system, can you confirm your serial number is not xx304xxxxxx or earlier? These Power Mac G4 (FW 800) logic boards have problems per this Knowledge Base entry: 86218. I am also waiting to take delivery of a new dual 1.25 GHz machine and I'd like to verify Apple has addressed this issue on orders they are now fulfilling.
Thanks!

Yeah, I will confirm, when I recieve it today. I hope apple would have enough forsight to pull these models once they knew about the problem, after all, it costs them money and would really piss off customers to ship them a defective machine. My fingers are crossed.
