Hi,
I was just wondering whether the following would be possible:
I know that Mac OS X is capable of handling software RAID disk arrays, I don't know all about it though. I have a Seagate Barracuda IV/7200rpm, 40GB and I'm getting another 40GB drive in few hours (hopefully another Seagate Barracuda IV). Now I'm curious whether I can install OS X on such a software RAID disk array. I know for example that Windows 2000 and XP can handle software RAID disk arrays as well but it's not possible to install the OS on such a software RAID. How does OS X handle this. Will I be able to install OS X 10.2 on a 2x40GB software RAID disk array or not?
