OK, just got my new 1GHz iMac yesterday and have been looking for a good 3 button mouse with wheel!! I want a white one so it looks good with the computer. I like the MacAlly Ice Mouse, has anyone used this?? Also, have done some searching and can find it for $27.99 at www.devdepot.com or for $29.95 at OWC. Anyone know where I might find it cheaper??

Thanks for your help!

I've heard good things about the kensington studio mouse. There is also a wireless version now too.

I like my Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical mouse. 4 buttons + scrollwheel. Accurate tracking. I have USB overdrive configured so buttons 3 and 4 have their own various actions for certain apps. It was about $50 when I purchased it, but as a longtime user of whatever one button "device" Apple provided, it was the best $50 investment I made in a long time.

I reccomend something along the lines of a logitech MX series mouse, or if you want the smooth look of the pro mouse, one of the crystal ones at dumpcomputers.com

I am looking to get a similar iMac to replace my wife's ibook. I know she digs the keyboard but not the mouse. Have you checked out Macally's Optical Micro Mouse? I know you were leaning toward a white mouse, but the innards of the Micro Mouse look cool!

Don't get the the Macally mouse! I have it at home and it sucks. The mouse feels very loose and the driver is actually an application that will take up a large amout of resources over a period of time. At work, I bought a kensignton mouse in a box that works great. It feels tight and the driver is better. And it is cheaper. You can get it at compusa for $15 buck and there are times with rebates that it is almost free.

I bought the Macally mouse thinking that I was supporting a true Mac only producer. I was wrong and I regret my purchase.
Yes, I know I could buy a PC, but why?

Although it's not white (there is a black edition), this is the best and only mouse I use:

It's only $25, and it's the most comfortable, affordable optical mouse I know of. I really love it.

Yes, this is an inexpensive mouse, but i don't care for it. I buy these for the computers at work, the wheel is too clicky as compared to my Logitech wireless cordless mouseman, I would recommend this line. I think the MX as mentioned about is know this series, I think I found a wireless cordless model with a smooth scrool wheel for $40. Any what ever mouse you get, get usboverdrive.com

I find the Contour Designs Unimouse to be the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. I've been using one for years and I have yet to find another mouse I like as much.
