If you haven't heard about my problems with my iMac delivery, take a look at this thread.

FedEx sent my computer to someone else 4 days ago, and it's finally here this morning.

I told the people at my office to not accept the computer if it showed up before I got here so I could inspect it, but the lady said she would just leave it for me to check out, and come back to check on me later. I was worried that they had been using it for 4 days, in which case I'd flat out refuse the thing.

It's open, but the iMac hasn't been unwrapped.

BUT OF COURSE, it can't end perfectly... the software CDs are gone. I'm going to use this as an opportunity to check the LCD for dead pixels, and hope she can go back and retreive the CDs for me.

Anyone here with a new iMac, can you please list the CDs that came with it? I don't want to take the package here and find out I'm missing one...

Well, someone at AI gave me the list:


• Mac OS X Install Disc 1
• Mac OS X Install Disc 2
• Apple Hardware Test
• Software Restore Disc 1
• Software Restore Disc 2
• Software Restore Disc 3
• World Book Mac OS X Edition

I just got my 17'' 1GHz iMac (yes, it's awesome!) and it came with only the following discs:

1 - CD Apple Hardware Test
2 - CD World Book Mac OS X Edition
3 - DVD with Mac OSX 10.2.3
4 - Black CD-R media
5 - Blank DVD-R media

Can anyone else confirm this? I think that everything is in the DVD (Software restore and Jaguar).

Yeah, got wrong info from someone on that...

You're right, restore software is on DVD.
