Any good ideas on how to watch TV, record from VHS and video camera into apllications etc. with this mezzanine card in OS X? I have tried all my OS 9 TV-applications via Classic, Final Cut 1.0, Commotion etc. - and none can see the card.

Could somebody write a small patch for all of us with older iMacs (rev/B and C) - it would easily be worth $10 to me. Or direct me to an application or patch - I would be most grateful. (Have tried formacs own apps - they don't work either - but then again, they never really have...

I'm still running OS 9.0.4 on my Bondi iMac. Does this mean that once I install OSX I will never be able to use the TV/SCSI card again? Or will I be able to once I boot into classic (or is it booting into OS 9?). Sorry about how clueless I am about X. I suppose I better catch a clue soon, huh?

All I am asking is that some talented programmer write a patch for OS X - as there isn't hardware involved in OS X, activating the pci-card in teh mezzanine slot can only be a matter of telling OS X to sharpen up (Sorry about the "only" - I am talking as I have understanding...)

I used to own that Formac iProTVRAID card for my iMac Rev. A. It worked fine under OS 9, but I did alot of upgrading which required to open up the iMac everytime. It somehow ruined the cables. Support for mezzanine slot is something like supporting the Rage onboard video... It's good for short term.

when you boot os9 you should be able to run it fine, provided the drivers are installed and active. odds are if you installed it and no ones messed with your computer, the switch back to 9 will get it to work fine

There's someone in my head but its not me...
