i picked up an nvida Gforce 2MX twin view last year, and only recently (today) did i try out dual displays. I was all about having more desktop space with AIM, iTunes and web on the other, but i have to say that i am a little disapointed.

I am barrowing a very cheap and crappy 15 inch from a buddy its an ADC spectrum 5vlr. fisrt off when i restarted my apple 17 CRT (with ADC) the geometry was off by about an inch andhalf, to the left, i thought nothing of it. so i addjusted and got everything right with rez and placement untill i noticed that when ever i have a high contrast ratio, viewing these forums for example the color bleeds horozontal. That blue bar at the top, compleatly runs the entire lenght of the screen covering the the white of the page with a faint blue line, same with other windows, i can drag them around and the fait lines move with it.

Now the cheap display has no effect that i mentioned.

so my question is, what the hell is up here. is it my video card can't support both ADC and VGA at once, or (what i hope) the cheap monitor is wacking everything out.

anythoughts?
