I have a concern that has been getting on my nerves recently. I use yahoo for my email address and noticed that I cannot use any color and graphics when I compose messages. First I thought it was like this for all yahoo email user, until I found out others with yahoo mail could use color and graphics. For instance when I click on compose there is supposed to be 2 links next to COMPOSE that say PLAIN and COLOR and GRAHPICS, but for me there's nothing there. It's the same with both my yahoo accounts and my dad's yahoo accounts. I'm starting to think that could it be because we're using an imac and you can't do that on imacs? If that's on it, I'm really baffled to why all the yahoo accounts we use on this computer can't use color and graphics. Anyone here that uses yahoo on their Mac, please help! Thanks!!

So are you using the free version? I use the enhanced Yahoo mail ($10 bucks a year) and I get color. I also use eudora to check it and I have HTML mail selected so maybe you should check your preferences?

I use internet explorer for my browser. I also have netscape, but they say it doesn't work on nescape. I have a free yahoo account. The other people that can use colors also have a free account and it works for them.

I figured it out! I got an email back from yahoo after I emailed them and they said that yahoo email format is currently not available for Mac systems. That's what I thought in the first place. I'm glad I figured it out. Thanks to those who helped.

I would have tried something like Chimera or Safari to make sure that it wasn't simply IE for the Mac causing the problem; often sites make the assumption that Mac users are using IE (because it's currently the only browser included with the OS).

I think if you use VirtualPC & Internet Explorer on that, you can use the colors
