Hi, I want to add a firewire card to my Rev. A Beige G3 (Upgraded to 500MHz G3) because I want to get an iPod. On eBay, where I plan to buy the card since they're loads cheaper than online stores, I see a ton of cards that say they'll work in OSX 10.2 (what I have--10.2.4 to be exact) in a Mac with an open PCI slot (Ive got 1 left--for a FW card) but the RevA ROM puts a couple limitations on the PCI bus and what cards will and will not work, right?

So, will any FW card that says its Mac Compatible really work, or are there specific ones that will/will not work on RevA's? Thanks.

Here's the one we installed in a beige G3 266. We just installed it in 10 minutes and as always with our MACS, not a problem.
