Over the last few weeks video display corruption has been more and more of a problem on my system. As of yesterday it made my system unusable:

Previously, I thought it was a heat issue and had been experimenting with various methods of getting the system cool. Well, that's not the problem and I'm certain because when Ieft the system off overnight, the problem was present immediately upon turning the mac on (the grey screen is okay, but artifacts show on the first blue screen with status box int he middle).
If I boot from the Jaguar install CD, video is okay. If I remove the GeForce* extensions from System/Library/Extensions video is okay. After reinstalling the system (therefore getting fresh GeForce* extensions), the problem returns. This makes me think the card is faulty in such a way that only when the drivers are in use does the damaged part of the card get used.
