I'm trying to get Linux to run on my 7500 Power Mac with a Sonnet G3 233mhz up-grade card. Anyone else get this to work? If so, which distro?

back in 1998 I ran LinuxPPC on my 7500 with a powerlogix G3 upgrade.
You should have no trouble running linux on a 7500.

oh wait a minute. I thought you meant a Motorola 7500 aka G5 processor. I really must've missed a step here.

You need to do the "install OS9 then bootstrap onto that" install.
That's how you install YDL or any other linux on these machines, so you can probably look for similar instructions. I just use debian, and those are the instructions I followed.
If you need any help, feel free to ask.
