I know this topic comes up every now and then, but the 17" iMac is 2202.84 Euro at the German Apple Store (inc. tax).

Thats 2368.64 USD !!!! Its 569 Dollars more in Europe. (rate: 0.93).

Can't Apple try just a little harder toward US price parity?

It's mainly the taxes lad. We're just worse off in Europe.

Edit: but over-all we might be better off...
