Does anyone have an idea on how to put a second hard drive in the Beige G3 without having an extra sled to mout it on?
WHy the heck did apple design them like this and not just use holes for screws?

1. Get a sled from eBay, or
2. Just sit the drive there - it's not going to go very far, is it?

As long as the machine is going to be stationary and not be moved around, try to lay it in the box, where it will cool and not be in the way of other components. Then leep your eye out for a sled on ebay or some other source.

Presumably, you're talking about the desktop model?
I'm assuming you have a Zip and a CD? Well, with the main HD mounted next to the mobo, there should still be 1 space left...I'm not really sure what the problem is...

If you're worried about it moving around, use magnets to hold it down.
JOKE! JOKE! sorry.
