I like the look of the Logitech one - black and shiny

Does the MS one have Mac modifier keys or Windows ones?

I just bought this one:

macally icekey [picture]

icekey info

It's simply the best keyboard I've ever used. Great keys. Looks great too - extremely thin!

looks awesome ... are they keys big enough (aside that they are incredibly thin ) ?
one thing I hated about the iMac original keyboard and later on the apple pro but in less degree was that keys where very little.

I have what's pretty much the wireless version of the Elite (Navigator Duo SE). And love it. I would recommend it. I think you will find it to be a solid product.
I always use protection when fscking my Mac... Do you?

yep - it's a full-sized keyboard, but only extremely thin. The keys are somewhat like those found on the iBook - lovely touch!

Haven't plugged it into my mac yet (i use it on my Thinkpad which has an awkward keyboard)...

THey are supposed to work, and from what I heard, work OK with some of the more popular programs.

I like the feel of the logitech keyboards.
I had an old Logitech wireless on my old PC... worked great but somehow my cordless phone was interfering with it (and since the phone was more expensive than the keyboard, the keyboard was the one to go).

I have a "Microsoft Office" keyboard on my PC now, and that also has a good feel, too. Also has a scroll wheel on the lefthand side of the keyboard. There is a Mac driver for it as well, but can't speak as to how well it works.

I find the current revision of the Apple Pro keyboards (the white models that come with the latest towers) are quite good.

rumor has it that Apple has a new blue tooth wireless key/mouse in the works! Don't recall the ref, but it was in one of the rumor sites a few days ago. I'd hold out a litle longer.

I bought the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo in December, and I love it! The keys are totally programmable, and I have nothing but great things to say about it!

I can't stand those "natural" keyboards. I just can't type of them.

However I *love* my Microsoft keyboard. I've praised it many times over in the peripheral forum. Do a search there and you should find many discussions. I'd advise the MS Office Keyboard. It has extra function keys you can map to Applescripts - which is very nice.

Cipher13,
I hope all goes well with you?????? I just ordered and may have Tuesday, the logitech wireless with a mouse. I believe my dealer said about $90.00 plus or minus. I hope this is a good choice??????? I need a keyboard that lasts and I hate keyboards that show dirt like the Apple pro keyboard does. The wireless part will be even nicer. Why does Apple sell such a crummy keyboard with their systems??????? I have never understood this at all. Later and be well!!!!

Ah nuts. The Microsoft wireless keyboard and wireless mouse showed up instead of the Logitech. Oh well seems to work fine so far.

For those using a Microsoft Office keyboard on a Mac -

How are the drivers? Fully programmable?
Do the volume keys on the keyboard work? What act as eject (or do you need the F12 key trick).

Any impressions would be helpful.

Drivers are fine. You mean function keys??????? They work. F12 only far as I can see but, who cares as OSX 10.2.4 has mounted icon for optical drives so you can use that. However if you have to do something like fsck at bootup I surely see no way that can be done.
