i purchased a 256 pc100 memory chip to upgrade my minitower g3/233. but i am no longer using the machine. can i now use this in my g4/400 agp which currently has a mixture of pc100 and pc133?

i was worried because i had memory problems earlier with my g4, and that can be, as you know, a real headache.

whoops! i made a silly mistake! the g3 memory chip is called KTA G3 256 from kensington i think the compny is called.

do you know if this will work in the g4/400 agp?

You might want to check with whoever you got the memory from. Some DIMMs will work in a Beige G3 only and not in a G4. I'm not sure exactly how to find out, you'll either have to contact Kingston or the place you got it from.
