Is the graphics card in the flat panel iMacs a special shape (due to the space restrictions)?

if it is i assume they are not for sale, but do you think i could buy a geforce4 from someone elses iMac on ebay?

actually, no.

The graphics card and chipset for the iMacs have always been made as a part of the motherboard, and are not upgradeable.
If this post is in the Lounge forum, it is likely to be my own opinion, and not representative of the position of MacNN.com.

bummer... the only reason i ask is because warcraft 3 is a little sluggish.

i read somewhere else that people think certain aspects of the game are coded poorly(ie not designed to take advantage of how the mac hardware works). does anyone know if this is true or not?

also what settings do people lower to get good performance out of the game on battlenet and in osX.

Thanks!
