I want to add a 2nd 15" LCD monitor to my current set up. 867 G4/17" LCD. Do I have to add a second video card to do this? Any help is appreciated.

You need to buy a Radeon 9000 or some kind of TwinView Nvidia card and you can have a flat panel on the ADC connection and have another hooked up with the DVI to ADC Converter.

you don't need to buy a card that supports twinview, you could just buy a compatible pci card to support the second monitor.
of course if you bought a twinview pci card you could use three monitors...

edit:

if you have a quicksilver g4 single 867 you probably have a 2mx, but you could (if you ordered it) have a 2mx twinview. connect two displays and power up. if only one works you don't have twinview.
if you've got an mdd dual 867 you've probably got a 4mx which supports twinview.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I have the 2MX video cars which runs my 17" LCD. What is the outlet that is on the card beside the one that I use to plug in my monitor? Can I use this? Would I need to upgrade to a 64MB video card to run QE on both monitors?

TIA

Take whatever VRAM your card had and split it in two. If the result is still enough to power one display in QE, you can handle running two with QE.

BTW, you should really get a second monitor. I just got a 15" Apple DVI in addition to my 17" ADC and it rocks.
