I just heard from a Mac fanatic friend that the Powerbook will be receiving an upgrade in April. This upgrade will be in the form of a spankin' new 15" Powerbook, mcuh like the 12 and 17 books. Well, since I'm wanting to purchase an iMac, has anybody heard if the iMac will also be upgraded in April? I was thinking of possibly making a purchase this week, but now I'm slightly hesitant given that an upgrade might happen extremely soon. Has anybody heard anything to this effect? Any info is greatly appreciated!!

They are always upgraded, usually within a week of you finally spending your cash.

There were only upgraded about six weeks ago.

Buy the 17" iMac now. It *ahem* rules.

God I sound like a skateboarder! A very British, not particularly gnarly one, but one none-the-less.

Although I don't know when, I heard that Apple was working on a wireless mouse / keyboard combination for the iMac (probably among other upgrades). This might be worth waiting for and holding off on my purchase. Also, I know that Logitech and the big M make good wireless solutions, but then you don't have the special mac keys that come with the Apple keyboard.

why hold off buying an iMac for a keyboard? Just buy one if and when they release it.
