I just got a 500 mhz imac and comparing the screen to my older 266 imac screen it is not quite as sharp. Is there an adjustment that I can do? I had it apart upgrading the hard drive and I noticed to adjustment dials on the side(analog board) when I had my bottom case off. Can anyone tell me how to adjust to get a sharper picture.

Thanks

the top dial on the analog board is for focus, the bottom dial is for cutoff/ contrast.

be extremely careful with the contrast, if its up too high the CRT will just shut down and you'll have to reboot for the electrons to start shooting again.

good luck
