Anyone know where I can pick up a spare ATA cable, the one that runs from the bottom of the motherboard to the main hard drives? I have a dual 1ghz quicksilver and one of my cables has an area where one of the wires has been exposed, not sure how it happened, but I would like to replace the cable. I can probbly just buy a long version from a local store, but I'd like the short cabe as I use two harddrives in the existing rack. Would there be any difference in using a longer verison cable anyway?

Thanks!!

Until you find some short replacements, I'd dab the exposed point with a bit of liquid electrical tape. Use a toothpick to apply it neatly. Liquid electrical tape is often sold in hardware stores.
