Hi. I have a beige G3 (rev. 1) and need some more RAM. From what I understand, I can have 3x256 sticks for a total of 768. Although the beige motherboards are PC66, will PC133 SDRAM work? Thats about all that's available now. Thanks
Yeah any RAM PC66, 100 or 133 will work. You just need to make sure it is compatible by checking with the maker. OWC has pretty good RAM, Crucial too, you might want to check dealram.com.
Get the Kingston Beige G3 RAM It will work in the Beige G3. I have one of these, and just maxed out my RAM 416 - 768MB last week. Don't get Double sided, it was hell and my computer wouldn't even boot (working on my article for this now should be posted next week to MacWrite.com)
That link to Kingston will give you the RAM you need and works great.
