Good question. Mine sounds like it's on the way out. Although, I'm thinking of getting a different card. But I'd like to know where to get a replacement fan just in case.

3 pin connector.
Apple GeForce 3 is 2 pin.
If it were that easy I'd have fixed this problem.

You can also get a thermal pipe kit and take the heat to the main heatsink. If you haven't upgraded the processor above the 450/500 it came with, the extra heat is no problem. And you go back to being fanless!
I would have included a link, but I just purchased mine locally from a computer show. Don't remember who made it, if you can't find one, I'll look when I get home and post.

Ahhhh. Don't they sell pin adapters? Or are those just 3 pin to 4 pin?

I might still have the fan from my OEM card, if you are interested. I now have a "custom" heatsink on my GF3 that has been performing admirably for the last 6 months or so. Sweet! No more GPU fan whine!
