Hey all, I just installed a new Hard drive in my sisters iMac a 7200 60GB. I had installed the burner prior to this, around the new year I think. Anyway at that time I was trying to move her over to OS X with this new burner, a clean install with 10.2, but we could not get it to burnd from iTunes 3 nor the Finder, but we could burn with Toast. Dropped back down to OS 9 and everything worked as expected. She decided to stay with 9 for the time and burn with iTunes 2. Now with the new faster HD (can't beleive the speed different it makes with OSX BTW) she wants to say in X and she had also picked up a new Clie which she was having problems with under 9, so that made going to X the better choice. Now, MCE says that it is suppose to work in OSX and since this is the only think the drive was made for I don't understand what is going on, I shot MCE an email today, we'll see what happends. Any one have an idea as to what is going on? The only thing I can think of is that Jaguar killed it some how. What happens in iTunes is it prepares the files and and will actually start to write to the drive, and then stop saying "Error with some number after it" really annoying. Currently she has 256MB of ram. There were clean installs done prior to each attempt, so don't think the glitch is there. Kinda hoping someone here is formiliar with the issue.

Thanks.

Well, no problems, it magically seems to work now, very strange.
