I have a cable modem. I have it running through a router going to a Windows machine and my iMac. I also have my iMac running to an Airport basestation so my iBook can get online wirelessly. Everything was working just fine until the other day. I went to get online with the Mac and I can't get online. All my settings are correct. I called my provider and they said it is not them, it is the router. I don't think it is the router because I can get online with the Windows machine, and I am really missing my Mac. Anyone know what could be the problem?
I have an MacBook, 15" monitor, 1 GIG ram, 120 gig internal hard drive, 500 gig external hard drive, and an iMac with 40 gig internal hard drive with iSight web cam. Using Mac OS 10.5 Leopard

Make sure that your IP settings didn't change anywhere, in your iMac or your AirPort Settings. Also, try running your iMac into the router itself instead of into the AirPort. Have you updated your AirPort software/firmware recently? I would suspect that somehow it jumped off the router's network of computers to broadcast internet signals to through the one central public IP, but be sure to check all the numbers in the iMac & the AirPort, and try plugging the iMac into the router instead. Also, powering down all equipment (modem, router, AirPort) and powering back up may solve it, as sometimes cable modems tend to act up and just simply need a restart. Good luck w/ it!
