I don't know wheather this applies in Macs, but there has been a recent (4 months) change in the production runs of PC 133 memory. They have doubled the density of the memory chips, and in PC66/100 systems these PC133 DIMMs do not work. This is because of a small change in the PC133 standard allowing for this. I do not know if Mac's memory controllers will allow for these denser DIMMs.
