Does the Dual 800 have a bug problem???

When I wake computer from sleep from time to time I get a white screen a it gives me two short beeps. After awhile it does it again.

Any ideas out there???

I just searched the AppleCare database (by entering "beep" in the search field), and two beeps at start-up means incompatable RAM's installed. I realize you were waking from sleep, but reboot and seen what happens.

You might want to remove the memory, chip by chip and in different slots, to see if any sticks have gone bad.
I am stupidest when I try to be funny.

Check out the AppleSupport discussion forums. Make sure the beep is coming from the speaker (or external speakers) and not internally from the hard drive, etc. to help you troubleshoot.

Beeps come from inside computer.

As to the RAM I will check this area and see if one of the three chips are bad or wrong kind.

Thank you
