for all of you that already have a cinema display with a Powermac --is the supplied cable for the monitor hook up long enough to put the hard drive on the floor and have the monitor up on the computer desk. or do I need to get a differnet one?

Oh you'll be fine...it's several feet long, definitely long enough to have your tower on the floor & display on a desk. It's highly doubtful you'd be putting them far enough away from each other that you'd need an extension.

Isn't the cable connected to the Cinema Display the 'captured' type? (The type that can't be removed without opening the case and taking a soldering iron to it.)
