I'm still a little confused on just what these new towers have. Is this it, do they have one ATA66 bus for the two optical drives, another ATA66 bus for two of the HD drive bays, and ANOTHER ATA133 bus for the remaining two HD bays?

They have:

- one UltraATA/100 channel (the connector towards the back of the motherboard) for two internal HDDs in the 3.5" back mount.

- one UltraATA/66 channel (one of the two connectors towards the front of the motherboard) for two internal HDDs in the 3.5" front mount.

- one ATA/33 (EIDE) channel (the other of the two connectors towards the front of the motherboard) for two optical drives in the 5.25" front mount.

You can find this info in Apple's hardware developer notes. A block diagram with the mentioned busses can be found here.

HTH.
