Hello,

My wife works on a emac and yesterday she asked me how it is that on some occasions, the date is set back to 1970???
I promised her to look into that problem.
I can not think of any reason, so I ask all the good friends up here if they have any idea to help me out?

THX

Dont tell me we are the only ones to experience this problem !!!!

Somebody help please!

It is very inconvienient that the date shanges out of the bleu to somewhere in the past because our bills, emails and so on are also affected with that wrong date

There is a date/time bug with 10.2.4, try updating to 10.2.6 and turn network time on.

...or maybe your backup battery is drained, that also causes Macīs awakening in the 70s or 1904.

That doesn't seem right... Mac's default date was in the summer of love. (June 1969) I haven't had the new Macs lose their date so I don't know what it is anymore...
