I've noticed every so often if I've been working for a period of time and go to access a document of something, the arm of one of the drives
springs out from th parked position. I have the
"put hardrive to sleep when possible" unchecked. I have read some drives spin down periodically for some reason or another and are designed to do this? I also read this may be an issue of OSX and I can use a command line to eliminate this problem. I also stumbled accross a piece of freeware that installs the
command line to effect the change ( reason for this post) but I can't find it again. Can anyone speak to this issue and can anyone redirect me to the freeware i'm seeking. I think it's called " ...... Spindown"
