So, I have a Power Mac G4 QuickSilver 733 MHz. I overclocked it like a moron to 800 MHz, and it only boots up and works when the case is down. Put the case up it freezes -- in OS X, OS 9, or when booting.
So I figure (since I also have a TiBook 1 GHz right now I am using as my primary machine), I will sell the HD, graphics card, heat sink, optical drive, and whatever else is removable to get some cash. Then just put the processor board aside.
Then I would get a GigaDesigns processor card with heat sink (1.33 GHz maybe?) and a Western Digital SE 8 MB cache HDD (80 GB), and a nice Radeon 9700 Pro video card.
Anyone have any other ideas or tips?
