I have a Ti 15" 1GHZ and have just tried to write a data DVD using Toast 5.2. The first effort on Lacie media produced an error then after bumping up the ram cache to max and trying an Apple DVD-R it wrote the DVD which I can see on the desktop and open up the files on it etc no problem. However, when I look at it on my G4 (OS9.1) it just spits it out, and then on my G4 867 dual (OS 10.2) nothing happens at all and it doesn't even appear on the desktop?
If anyone has any ideas on that I would be very grateful!! Ta

Which of the 4 toast settings are you using? (meaning Data, Audio, Copy, Other) It should be under "Other > DVD" not "Data."

Sorry, I meant that it was a DVD containing data i.e. backing up work as opposed to creating a DVD with a movie on it. I was using DVD format under the other menu.
