i'm really frustrated, I just got an Oxford 120 gig fire drive for my g3 imac dv, everything was cool until I tries to connect my ipod to put some music on it. The ipod got stuck accessing (color wheel stayed forever) and I couldn't force quit to stop it. Next I turned off my Oxford drive and then unplugged the firewire from the ipod. I restarted everything and now the b tree directories are corrupted. My friend backed up the files he could save, wiped the drive and tested it. I took it home and it was cool, then I connected the ipod and I'm right where I started. Is this common and more important, preventable. Please, any help would be great.
