I'm thinking of trying to run the iTunes 4.0.1 Visualizer which I now use as an automatic screensaver on my eMac (10.2.6) to a 35" TV which is located about 50' from my computer. Might make a good liteshow and the hookup might come in handy for other misc. purposes.

The Toshiba TV has all the necessary inputs and my eMac has a VGA output.

I've checked and found adapters from StarTech and AverMedia, but this is new stuff to me and I wondered if anybody out there has any advice, experience with the aforementioned products or recommendations for such a connection.

Appreciate any help I can get.

Yup, linking to stuff at the Store doesn't work.

Second from the botton on the cables page. It's the Apple Video Adaptor. Don't get it confused with the VGA Display Adaptor though.

Got the right converter cable (VGA adapter cable for pre-airport extreme eMac.)?? from Apple and the Avermedia iMicro VGA to NTSC/PAL converter so I should be set up.

If not I'll go from there
