Spymac reports that the manufacturer of CoreCrib has been forced to go and find another supplier of Gigabit motherboards for use in their CoreCrib machines. That supplier was apparenty under an agreement with Apple to NOT sell or distribute the motherboards to anyone.

Honestly, who didn't see this coming?

I'm surprised he got this far. Did he think nobody thought of doing that before? It's just that everyone else did their homework and realized they couldn't legally get motherboards, because Apple doesn't sell OEM motherboards. They only sell boards to service centres and have strict agreements in place to ensure they don't re-sell them to anyone else unless they're being used to repair an existing Mac.
