Xserve - Can I do this, concurrent multiple user login, displays, keyboards,No Clients?

i.e. no more client iMacs or towers, just rig up a display and a keyboard in each users' room -- I only see one video out on the Xserve -- how do you make it serve multiple displays, and keyboards without actually buying more client macs.?

Is it possible?

If you wish to pay any attention to Mac OS Rumors, they've been saying that multiple, concurrent user logins maybe available in 10.3 (Panther). They've said it's likely to be a feature in Server and perhaps in OS X client as well.

Silly me, I thought that's what a server was for. If not, then what's Netboot?

That's the drive is on the server, but everything else is local.

I've seen the multiple keyboards / mice thing done, but only with linux.

Thanks for the responses.

A set up like I described would be great -- prevent the kids arguing over who will have the most capable machine.

Xserves used in that way would be an interesting alternative solution for the static component of a family/home network, for those who don't mind the complexity and wiring tradeoff. (as long as / or if the concurrrent multiple login was feasible without additional client machines--[Otherwise, I personally wouldn't bother.])
