I have a dual 867/ATI 9000

is there any decently priced way to get a TV-out on my computer?

were there any cheap PCI cards with TV/out that would work with OSX and my 9000?

i appreciate the help

The Radeon 7000 Mac Edition ($120) is a PCI card with S / composite out. It has an S port, and includes an adapter cable to convert the S port to an RCA-phono composite video jack.

yeah, i appreciate the suggestion, but that is an insanely high priced card.

since i wont be using ANY of the features of the card other than the video out, i dont need it to be from anywhere near this generation.

any thing older (and cheaper) that will work with OS X?

Get a VGA-NTSC scan converter. Many such devices exist.

i thought that those were even more expensive than what the 7000s are running for. im a starving college kid so i wanted something as cheap as possible. i was thinking the easiest way of going about this is using an old PCI card with a s-video out. but, im a switcher, and dont know much about previous mac hardware.

i would prefer to spend as little money as possible.
