It just occured to me that we might be able to install some little blinky LED's behind that front grill.

Make it blue and white LED's. I think it would be kinda neat. Maybe kinda retro.

I'm thinking something like the old beboxes would be nice. I still would hate to ruin such a design though.

There's a hidden beauty in that case I tell you.

I figured you could drill a nice neat circle just under the centre and put a nice red bulb in there. Stick a relevant blue label across the Optical Drive, and Hey presto!

"Hello Dave."

(Okay, so It's not black and stuff - but are you gonna tell me it doesn't say that to you?)
Hark, I hear a robin sig'ing in the trees!

Those case modder lights might look pretty tasty behind that grill.

Anyone want to create a photoshop example of what it would look like.

Put in 4 rows with 6 each leds. Kinda like the old main frame with blinky lights. No modifications to the existing grill, use the existing holes.

I never wanted to stick a cold cathode into a computer. 'til now. I won't though. Even if (when! it's 'when'!) I get one.

Rise of the Machines

Give it 2 bright red LEDs for eyes. This thing belongs to the terminator. Would be a nice surprise if it showed up in T3 though. Killer carrot-grater!
