Why on earth do you have to plug in an antenna to do wireless on these??

Sure, the case is metal, but they could have done a powerbook-style tiny plastic insert for the antennas :-(

I didn't think about this. That's crap!

What sort of a machine has bluetooth and wireless, but no aerial.

OR is that an external to get more range????

And for the price you have a miserable 64 meg of video! :o) LOL!!!

Any WinTel has 128 and now I saw offers for 1000 dolz with 18inch flat screen!!!

Well, I am a graphic designer, and I also do video edit, should I comment???...

It uses external antennas. The top two "ports" on the back of the G5 are actually the antenna connectors for Airport Extreme and Bluetooth.

If you download the large "technology overview" PDF from the G5 site, on page 19 there is a picture of one of the antennas on the back.

I wonder if those Dr.Bott extendair antennas will work with the Powermacs.
