My G4 17" imac has left me with a dilema, especially as I cought myself drolling over the 20" cinema displays all over campus here at dartmouth. Yeah those are great and yeah they have some nice computers behind them... but with this imac apple made one of the biggest features they haven't brought to other systems... the movable monitor. Does anyone else use this as much as me? When i want to see something close i just instinctively grab and pull the monitor closer... i swivel it to show other people things, i tilt it when lights adjust... trying to use other computers i have to catch my self and not try to move the monitor like I do now.
Is there any hope? Will cinema displays ever be able to work like the imacs screen does? Is this as big a deal to others as it is to me?
ipod why have you forsaken me?!?!?!

Don't worry, you are not the only one! I find the moveable monitor a real boon when working - all in all the iMac is an excellent user friendly machine.
