Waht would be benefit of a 2nd video card in my g4 1.25 DP? I have a ATI 9000 Pro 64 MB and Im planning to add a ATI 7000 PCI 32 MG DVI,VGA,Svideo. Would my 2nd card be able to use the 2D acceleration in Mac OS 10.2.6 +

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you're asking if your second (PCI) card will use Quartz Extreme, the answer is 'no'. QE needs AGP.

From here.
Quartz Extreme functionality is supported by the following video GPUs: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX, GeForce3, GeForce4 MX, or GeForce4 Ti or any AGP-based ATI RADEON GPU. A minimum of 16MB VRAM is required.
There's a hack to enable QE on PCI cards. I think it's called PCIExtreme. Sorry I don't have any links.

Search on google for PCI Extream, from what I understand it's not a complete QE and it's a bit rough... but still yeah... anyway, you might see a benifit, as in you can hook up another monitor, but AGP card with two monitor outs would be a better solution.
